It sounds like its some kind of bacteria infection. Maybe put some antibiotics in your QT tank to see if it helps. As long as they are still eating, they still have a chance to fight it off.

i wrote half of that and not the capital locks was on canny be arsed changing it.lol
the poly filter has only got a slight yellow colour from ammonia i have no copper or lead in the tank
i bought a yellow tang and put it in my main tank nothing wrong with it yet no blood shot eyes so far
and i have also got a pacific blue tang looking good also i will puting most of my fish in the main tank apart form the tangs.
