Sailfin plecs

We have 2 sailfin plecs, They never really go near each other, Last night they were acting rather odd, they stuck them selves to the front of the tank and started swimming round each other, Ive never seen this before, What where they doing and why???

Perhaps the are male and female? Perhaps they are getting close with each other ? Light some candles and pop the champaign

But seriosly, they might going into mating? I havent been able to breed my plecs so im not suer of their behavoir
