I dont know where to post this, but as its CO2 I thought it would be better in the Planted section.

Ok basically my question is, what precautions do you guys take to make sure that your C02 pressurised canisters are protected from things like fire etc, and from damaging people?

Mine is just stood up and secured to the back of the cabinet under the tank by an MP3 velcro armband which is screwed to the back wall. The cupboard is locked to stop fiddling fingers. What safety precautions can you take? put it in a fireproof box?

I would just make sure it is away from children or people who may interfere and that it won't fall over. If there is a fire in your house there will be many things more dangerous than 1 fire extinguisher!!! Namely Gas pipes in or attached to walls!!!

mine is pretty open, but it is quite secure being wedged between a pole and the side of the cabinet. best way to do it is to get some material and screw it to the cabinet/ wall.
