Safe To Put New Gravel?

Howdy,

I have about 40 baby fry, many that are less than a week old. Is it safe to put in new gravel? If so, how do I go about it?

I would wait...I tried that with week old platy fry and only one made it.

Wait until they are about 3 weeks old and more free swimming.
