I have about 25 baby swordtails in a 10 gallon tank, they are 3 weeks old. Will algae eaters or cory cats eat them if I add them to help keep the tank clean? Also, if I have another batch of fry, can I add them with the bigger fry?

I don't think cories would hurt them but maybe you could ask the question in the Catfish section. Cories won't eat algae but they will clear up the uneaten food off the bottom.

I have found that I can usually add new guppy fry to a tank with month old fry in there but maybe just put a couple in first to see and after feeding time when the older fry are full :D

I had 7 cories in my 26 gallon swordtail fry tank. I never saw them bother any of the babies. They did a great job of cleaning up the excess food that the fry missed.

My ottos have no problem with fry, far as I can tell.

I have a false siamese algea eater(flying fox) in with my 200 fry and have never seen any problems and the numbers seem to be stable.
