Will these guys feed on my java moss? Will a group of 3-5 do alright in my 30 gallon?

I had 3 of these from a half an inch long. They grew to 3"+ in as many months. IMO very handsome fish but they where VERY lively especially at feeding time. They only 'bickered' amongst themselves but thier antics did disturb my cory and especially my dwarf gouramis. Eventually I desided to return them to the lfs but could only catch 2 so I let the last one have a raprieve. That one settle down lovely and the cory stood up to him/her over the pellets! Unfortunately he has gone now but I am thinking of getting just one to replace it as I have a shoal of Ottos now which are very competent algae eaters.

Just thought I'd share my experiences with you
