Agree. I've no idea on the background to the question, i.e., if you have it or are thinking of getting one, but will mention that this is not a nice fish and not one I would ever again acquire.

Yep, definitely Chinese. Not a great fish--they get big, they quit eating algae once they grow up, and they are aggressive and predatory.
