Fish Crazy
Hi-
Here goes another molly!! But, as I've mentioned before, this little gal was really trying to fight off the swim bladder, righting herself when she was swimming, etc. But now she lies on her back breathing heavily with her little male friend right next to her watching over her.
(It is sad that they are the last 2 mollies --(out of 3 fish-other catfish) left from many fry born here in the last year (many we gave away--but lost some, too). This gal still amazed me today as she kept trying to rest on the bottom and this little guy kept nudging her and chasing her!! I couldn't believe she still had it in her to play with him. I am so sad for him--how he will miss his great buddy--so will the catfish! We're going to get some more fish for this 10 g tank.)
It's so frustrating--now I doubt myself. Should I have givn her antibiotics? She did finally eat some peas and things started "moving in that area," but I guess it just wasn't enough!!! It's so hard--getting attached to these little creatures...it's hard to let go.
Thanks for all who cheered me and my tough little gal on as she defied the odds.
