Ok my male made up his bubble nest for penny. But I moved Penny away from him to get ride of her stress. My male has been really sad since I moved her away. He destroyed his bubble nest and everything!

It seems probable that he was nesting because seeing her was driving him into mating behaviors. When you removed her, it was the rough equivalant of her being unimpressed by what he was offering and leaving. Could explain why he's wrecking the nest - he might be getting ready to start over!

maybe. I know he likes Penny because when I put her little tank next to the fish bowl he goes Google eyed crazy over her!
