Sad, But Very Happy

about a week ago i bought a pair of convicts, i am sad that it didnt turn out to good but yesterday i bought a smaller female and it turns out she likes him and he likes her. i cant wait until i have some baby convicts

I just got myself out of the convict business yesterday...

A few things I've learned:

1. Baby convicts can be quite a bother. If you don't remove them to another tank they will be eaten eventually (or at least that's what happened in my tank).

2. If the male wants to mate and the female doesn't, the female will get the snot beat out of her.

Point 2 is what really bothered me. It got so bad that I had to put in a divider, which totally killed the effect of the tank. It just looked dead and ugly. I'm on to Angels now... hopefully they will be better.

The fish were re-homed through a LFS with a good reputation.
