I have a very pregnant guppy who is in a breeding tank. I really dont know how to put this, so here goes. How can I tell if she has had a stillbirth or not. Would it be a fry but just dead, or would it look like something else. She had a really good feed of live Daphnia early and has passed some big poops. I am really not sure though if that is was it is. :*)

If she had miscarried early it would look long with like very small beads in the poo hope this is making sense.

Thank you so much for replying quickly. No they are short and stubby but nothing like beads in it, and I can still see black spots in her tummy. Do they give birth from underneath thier tummy or is it from the same place as thier poo. Sorry if I sound naive but I really dont know. :S

Never seen a fish give birth, they come out at the anal fin, is she big and restless, abit snappy with the other fish.

Well she was, she is now in the breeding tank

How big is the tank, as you could put her back and let the fry take their chances, if youl have alot of hiding spaces and plants some of the fry will survive, if she is pooing alot she could be stressed and you could cause her to abort or even die.
