Running Air Pump With Co2?

I read this somewhere but I just can't find it. Doesn't running an aerator disturb a CO2 supplement in a tank? I suggested to my roommate (who I am advising) that he shuts his aerator off for now.

Yep.

Many people have the air pump come on at 'night' when the lights go off... No light to plants = no need for CO2.
