A = large Apple Snail
P = small Pond Snail


A: Hey, whats up?
P: Um... do I know you?

A: No, but I need a hug!
P: I don't think so... HEY! That's close enough thank you very much...

P: Get away from me you creep!
A: Don't go away... all I want is a hug...
P: *shouting* Police! Police! Get your feelers off of me!

A: Fine... have it your way. But I know, deep down, that you really want a hug.
P: Whatever... just leave me alone.

A: *talking to himself* Sheesh, some people these days... can't even accept an innocent hug.
P: *muttering* What a creep, what the heck did he think he was doing...

well that "thingy" is what they use to breath, nothing else....i'm pretty sure the apple snail was checking to see if it could eat the pond snail...it all comes down to food and sex for them though, so i'm sure it was one or the other

oh yea, plus a lot of my fish eat the slime behind the snails, so it may have been eating the pond snails slime too!

nope, that really is his syphon. The syphon is on the right, the other stuff is on the left (you can see that from the pics you cited from applesnail.net).
