I had some off these breed a couple off years ago. They are egg layers. I never did anything special for the to breed. When I saw the male chasing the female I put them both in a large net breeding trap and turned the light off. After a couple off hours I removers the fish and there were hundreds off eggs. I was told the eggs are very sensitive to light so I left the light off and covered the part off the tank where the eggs were with a towel to keep it pitch black. I was also told the eggs hatch within 24 hours but I was not around for 3 days. When I got back I looked in side and there were about 20-30 tiny fry swimming round ( I'm not sure if there classed as fry when this small tho ). I started using a liquid food 2 times a day. And after about 5-6 weeks I had about 13 fish still alive and I managed to release them in to the tank. I'm not an expert but this is my experience so I hope it helps. Thank AB
