Had my Rummy noses about 4-5 months now, and last week one died but the few days up to that is was breathing heavily and was almost skeleton thin. Now another seems to be going the same way. The only difference is that this one is moving around more. No new fish introduced for months normal constant water changes as always so I am at a bit of a loss.

Suggestions? Ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

Bit of a long shot, but do you know if all your fish are tank bread or wild caught? If they are wild fish (and thats a big if) they may be suffering internal parasites, as a result of being pulled from the wild infected, or eating a wild fish that was infected, shortly after the wild fishes death.

Internal parasites are far rarer than commonly thought, so do not assume that the problem is this if you are unsure. You may get a better responce in the emergency section of the forum :good: Good luck in finding the problem
