I am interested in some rummy nose tetras. Could some one post a pic for me and some info? Google isnt helping me today, it keeps freezing up. What amount of nitrates does there nose turn "rummy red"?

Thanks. I will keep a look out for them because they look so darn cool! Any other info would be appreaciated.

Just take your time looking at fish don't rush it.

Thanks, that link helped alot! Dont worry, I will take my time. You and Tolak should be given a award as far as I am concerned, you have helped me and many others with problems that no one else could identify or fix. Go Wilder and Tolak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a pic of some of mine. I've had very good luck with them. I started out with 7 about 2 1/2 year ago and only lost one which somehow managed to get caught in the filter intake and was badly cut. Once settled in, they colour up very nicely. They are a fairly active tight schooling fish, a good community member that doesn't bother their tankmates. One of my favorite tetras!

I agree with Wilder, they should have at least a 2 ft tank (preferably more) as they are pretty active and need a bit more swimming space than a 10 gal would offer them.
