Rubbing belly

What does it mean when my female con is going into a cave and rubbing her belly on the walls of it? Also when she is not rubbing her belly on the walls she just sits in there except when she comes out to eat. Her and my male are moving rocks out of the cave and there is a big pile of gravel right outside of the cave.

I found out my cons laid eggs in the cave I can see them!

Was about to say they were house cleaning for eggs. What else you got in there with them. They will usually protect them at the expence of your other fish, i.e. kill them. I have kept other fish with them, but its usually a no go.

I have 2 other cons in there I am about to move them to another tank so they dont get hurt. What color should the eggs be?
