Hi All,

Just want to make sure that everything is ok with my RTBS...

He's been in the tank now for about 2 months, and has been fine with all my other fish (although he's going into a bigger thank soon)

This last week i've noticed that he's going slightly green in colour. Still has a beautiful red tail and black body but the tinge of green is becoming slightly more apprent.

Any suggestions?

Regards

If that's right then phew! i really like the RTBS and he's been jet black since i've had him. Was worried with the tinge of green coming through something was wrong with him. Will his pure black body come back or will the green tinge now stay with him?

Yeah that's right. You can only tell if you relly look at him. I just wanted to make sure he was ok, when i first got him it look like he'd been attacked alot. He was very small, had some very slight nips out of fins and also looked like he'd not eaten very much. He looks a bundle of health now though after two months in my tank and has grown quite a bit. Thanks for your speedy replies

Sounds like he's good and healthy. Good job! Oftentimes when you first get them, the fins are split because the fs keeps them together and they fight.

yeah in the lfs they must have had at least 50 in a 45 litre tank :( thats why i ask for the little one. I knew i could give him a good home. thanks for the information :)
