ROYAL PLECO!!!!

Ok, guys I am so excited!!!! I just purchased my first Royal Pleco, and he is such a beauty. I believe he's an L190...but I need a confirmation on that. He's about 4 inches long. This guy is super fiesty and has a great personality. And he started eating as soon as I put him in the tank...thats always a great sign.

So here he is! My newest beauty!

Thanks everyone! You guys would freak if you knew how much I paid for him...or didn't pay for him. I got him for $15 at my favorite lfs...they gave him to me at a serious discount as a Christmas present.

I may sound stupid and stuff but..you have alot of fish...and big ones, gibbicep, royal plec, 8 cory cats, big gouramis, clown loaches and other loaches...and your biggest tank is 30G are you going to upgrade or somthing? so you are not afraid to have big fish in future?

Yes. I am planning to upgrade very soon. I am getting a 55 gallon within the next few months, and a 100+ gallon hopefully shortly after that. Believe me, I wouldn't buy these fish if I didn't have a place for them.

JoKeR - Thanks! (I like to think I know what I'm doing! ) He was $15 even...my lfs gave him to me at an extreme discount...he was originally $40!!! He's in the same tank as my Gibby, Rex, for the time being, and so far they are seemingly ok...Rex likes to chase the new guy a bit, but there are no ripped fins or chunks missing from either one, so I'm hoping they will settle themselves eventually. Cucumber night is tomorrow night...tonight was algae wafers and he loved 'em!

Sorrell - Thanks hon! It's too bad your distributor didn't get them. Same thing happened to me not too long ago...one of my lfs was gettting a shipment of Albino Gibbys in (one of my most wanted Plecos) and I went down to check 'em out...turned out their distributor didn't ship them and I was so sad. I hope you can find a Royal soon!

kevin007 - I do appreciate your concern, but seriously that kind of stuff has a tendancy to tick me off a bit. I don't like it when it's done to me and I don't like it when it's done to others. But it's all good...I know you are only looking out for the fish. Glad you like him.
