Alot of my new plants have not rooted and seem to break and float on the surface. I am quite demoralized. Everyday I come home to plants on the surface of my tank. I put in the supposed "super gravel" (Flourite) at $50 a bag and it seems to have no affect whatsoever. My plants dont even hold.
My ambulia and Ludwigia have both seemed to rot at the stem and uprooted, what do I do? Do I cut the rotten piece off and plant some leaves to anchor them down?
One individual stem of Ludwigia has almost gone completely yellow
My individual stems of Hygrophillia show small root growth are also uprooting.
My tanks pH is at about 7, i dose Excel everyday and Flourish once a week. 24W x 2 T5 HO on for 9 Hours a day
I just cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I have tried so hard and am failing miserably.
On a positive note my anubia nana looks extremely healthy as do my amazon swords. My Baby Tears also seems to be growing.
