Rotkeil Severum Breeding.....

Hey Guys,

i've had my 6 rokeil sevs for quite a longtimenow and iknew when i got them there was a breedingpair somewhere in there.

i'd seen alot of lip locking, and general mating but never any eggs....until today.

just noticed this morning there is a batch of eggs on the topof my slate cave in the tank.

i can't take the slate out as my other tank isn't big enough to house it.

so have u got any tips to help the fry survive ? they are all in the same tank as the fish listed below in my signature

With that amount of large fish, Im not sure they stand much chance, the parents will protect them as best they can, but that might turn out badly too.

Tank divider is their best bet.

Have to agree with minx, a tank divider is your best bet really. Oh and don't be too dissapointed if your Sev's either eat their eggs or not look after them properly, they are notoriously bad parents at first.
