I just got another ropefish and placed her into my tank with my other ropefish whose alittle larger than her. The larger ropefish will on occasion bite onto the smaller one. She doesn't chase after her just if the smaller one approaches her she will attack.

Is this just a form of asserting dominance or should I take out the smaller ropefish? Or will it stop?

They are best kept in groups, so adding another two would help build a hierarchy where no one fish is constantly being targeted, Usually however they aren't an overly aggressive fish, but I did notice with mine in the past they did sometimes like to nip at anything that was sat in close proximity,
