hey there,
first off, welcome to the site :D

Ive had a RTBS and i found that he was ok with most fish except for dark coloured ones that from a distance he sometimes mistook them for other RTBS.
He was in with guppys, platys and pearl gouramis. I had some green tiger barbs at one stage, which are kinda dark and he chased them alot.
He also chasd a dark sunset platy that i had

ah right i see, thankyou for that.
do you no how much they cost? and do they chase other fish to the point that they get too stressed?

red tailed black shark is a fish which can co exist with almost all kinds of freshwater fishes..It has a peaceful nature and never attacks any other kind of fish( I have never seen them to attack any other species in my past 14 years of freshwater tank experience)...
