Rocks

in my 36 gallon tank i bought 3 rocks that appear to me as dead reef. i rinsed them off and everything and after about a week of being in my tank one of the rocks started to grow fuzzy white stuff on it. should i be concerned. should i take the rock out. or what should i do. or better yet are these rocks safe to put in a freshwater tank>

Depends on exactly what is on the rock. If it is reef bones it will likely add to buffer the pH upwards as well as increase Carbonate Hardness.

It's quite hard to say whether it will be safe without a picture of some sort.
