Rocks In Malawi Tank?

What types of rocks do you suggest?

I have a sand / crushed coral / gravel mixed substrate... I have a piece of driftwood that I want to add in, but I hear it'll lower the Ph... So I need a suggestion on a good rock that will look nice and will help with keeping my levels right.

hello higgins. tuffa rock will look nice and will help with your ph levels and will also help buffer the water, also ocean rock is very nice, wont do much to help the water, and is so much heavier. and lastly volcanic rock is out of this world, its very, very light, it does not do anything to your ph levels, but its by far the best looking rock. I would'nt put your bogwood in, it will stand out like a sore thumb in a malawi tank

Any suggestions on where I could search for such rocks?

I think I'll be able to add in the driftwood and make it look nice. We'll see though.

if you cant get the rockwork from your lfs then try some of your surrounding garden centres, just make sure you wash it properly first

volcanic rock is out of this world, its very, very light, it does not do anything to your ph levels, but its by far the best looking rock.

also known as lava rock, and it looks great!!
very nice background which the fish contrast nicely against!
