Hi guys, ive just set up my ro unit again and dont hae very good pressure so I run a pump with it to increase the pressure. Me being me ive lost the instructions for the pump. I cannot remember how long it said I can have the pump running before I have to give it a short rest. I think it was something like 15 mins rest for every 2 hours but im not sure!
anyone help me out?
thanks

About 1.75 gallons per hour.

Mmm, that equates to about 7.5L an hour? I should imagine then that your PSI is probably around 20. I get around 30-35 PSI depending if the water is being used elsewhere. Optimum pressure is about 80 PSI on most household units.

Its well worth investing in a pump. You will be doing approximately a gallon in just under 10 minutes from using a booster pump. That's going to be my next investment! Remember though that you have to turn the pumps off after you are done filling your container, as the booster pumps are not designed to run continuously.

PSI is about 60, its only a 50 gallon a day unit and im getting about 42 out per day. I already have the pump, its just I cant remember how long I can leave it running for before I need to let it rest. At the minute im giving it half an hour every 2 hours.

PSI at my house, last I measured was about 40-45. I've read that 50 and over is best for getting a good production rate. SH
