Ro Di System

I recently purchased a RO DI system.  Do I need to add anything to the water or can I just pour the water in?  Do I need nutrients?  Also Does the RO DI system effect the PH levels.  I haven't run any test on the water yet, Just got the system.  Just curious to here what I need to do before using this water for the tanks

Did you buy it new or used.

You do need to either remineralise with a mix of salt/minerals, or mix with a proportion of tap water. You cannot keep fish (or anything else) in pure RO water, as they all need those trace minerals to stay healthy.
 
If your RO unit is working properly, you should not get any readings at all, for anything, including hardness. The pH will be neutral (which is pH 7).

I have chilids, and a tetra tank, I also am using the ro di water for my saltwater tank were I have a green carpet, and two clownfish, and a six line wrasse
