Hi, not sure if this is the right forum for this, but my question will affect a planted tank, so here goes...

I have been keeping fish for two years, and have decided my 10UK Gal planted tank would benefit from using RO water mixed with appropriate additives. I had heard that it was possible to buy additives that automatically bring the pH to 7.0. Is this right, and if so can someone recommend an online supplier?
The tank in question has no fish in at present, but will do in the future. Do I still need to change the water chemistry slowly as it is full of plants, or will they cope okay? My water is hard and pH is 7.5.

Many thanks from Bill.

not sure about what to add back in...

change the water slowly, so there is no shock, hardwater plants like vallis may struggle as they use the bicarbonates in the water as a source of C.
