Oh man I should have known better. We just got back from holidays, before I left I thought I would try some live plants again in my tank. What comes with plants
?SNAILS Oh my lord do I have snails. Our son phoned us in Hawaii and said "Mom they are all over your tank".
So now, I am invaded. Many years ago I had a snail problem, after lots of hard work (won't tell you what I did ) I got rid of them and the live plants too.
So here we go again, I am so mad at my self but wanted some live plants for my Discus.
Anyhow, is it true that there are loaches that will eat these things??? I mean acutally kill them and eat them all up??
Please list all fish that will eat these dam things.
Another thing I thought of doing was to use a shallow container with some pellets in it. Punch holes so the snails can get in but not out and trap them that way.
Any and all suggestions welcome except for additives that will kill them, used that once and killed all the fish too.
