Came home from a good day at safari park to find one of my guppies dead.
Dunno what caused it as amonia and nitrite (or mayby nitrate) is 0 and nitrate (or nitrite) is 20.
So the water is fine and there was no visable signs of anything wrong this morning when I went out.

i kno how u feel to. i have lost 8 fish in a week before, but lucky i have a get lfs that gave me some free fish

Um, I hope it's that your nitrites are zero and your nitrates are 20. The other way around is baaaad news. That being said, you can find a dead fish and it seemed just fine the day before. So sorry you lost one. It's hard. You immediately blame yourself of course. They truly don't live very long, guppies that is. Which is sad because I get so danged attached to them. If you suddenly lose more then it's either a virus or bad water. At least that's my guess. Nitrites are baaad news all around. Do hope it's not that. I have my fingers crossed that you're AOK now and it was just old age.
