:rip: Well, saturday I woke up and noticed my female Nipper had a bit of a fungus looking stuff on her, so I moved her to the hospital tank with some salt and a little bit of metafix and primafix... had to go somewhere, and when I came back the fungus or whatnot had gotten larger, plus she was starting to pinecone, which is a sign of dropsy, right? So I added Maracyn 2 then had to leave again, and when I came back around 3-4 she was dead. *Cries* Since she was in the community tank I did a 75% water change and I'm now treating that with Maracyn 2 as a just in case, even though none of the other fish are showing signs of it.

Aww. I'm sorry.

You did everything you could, though.

I bet she had a wonderful life with you. :-(

*Sniffles* And now my 30 gallon looks so empty, and Flame looks lonely, and Petsmart had a bunch of tiny little girls, I'd say maybe 6 months old at most... I saw a really pretty pale yellow there, also 3 crowntails, but I don't want to get any more until I'm sure the tank is clear of it/ done with its medicine.

Awww so sorry to hear that. RIP lil girl. My two girls are still fighting theirs. Been a week? Am throwing every trick I know at them (not literally) but they are slowly going downhill. :-( Considering how nasty this disease is I'm amazed at how long they've fended it off, especially after Aprils Columnaris outbreak, which they both survived remarkably well. *sigh* In fact one of the girls is only swollen on one side. :X But the pineconing is still there. My poor girls. :-( Hate losing fish or the battles to get them to full health.
P.

*Bawls* And to top it off when I got home from work today my purple girl Thistle, the one who had gottan chunk taken out of her back by Nipper and Flame, and who healed up nicely and got put in the 10 gallon divided... I come home and Don't see her anywhere... First thought is she jumped out, but I leave 2-3 inches between the water level and the top of the tank so I look in the Whisper 10i filter (Which does not come with a top) and there she is, my poor baby all dead. Plus, the maracyn 2 that I put in the 30 gallon has made the water EXTREMELY cloudy... I followed the directions and added 1 packet per 10 gallons... It looks like Smoke is in the water, everywhere. *Cries* Is this normal??

Awwwww... man you're not having a good day are you. :( *hugs* I'm so sorry about your little girls. :-(
