I'm sorry about your cory, we have a cori and he's called little sooty, he's our little baby. I can't imagine losing him to fish disease. I recently sucked him up with my gravel hoover, it took me five minutes to set him free! Thank goodness he survived. Have you named your cori's?
Cheers for the comments all. One of the others seems to be having a bit of a balance problem, I'm waiting to see if it clears (may be from air consumed in dried food) but I've got some swim bladder medication and a memorial hospital tank is currently being setup in memory of the little guy that died.
I haven't named them as I don't seem to be able to sufficiently tell them apart
Yeah, the drawback of having a tank with plenty of hiding places is I didn't notice quite how sick he'd become. Regarding getting more, I'm waiting two weeks to see if any other fish in the tank get sick and possibly treating the one that may have a swim bladder problem first.
The little guys are great. Weirdly enough they went very quiet and stayed in their favourite spot while the other one was ill, when he collapsed in the Java Moss one of them even came over and poked him back to the corner with them.
I've always been slightly amused that the normally very knowledgeable locak Maidenhead Aquatics sells them as Jullis though....
