I just lost my favorite fish, my Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami.
I noticed 2 days ago that he wasn't himself, kinda hanging out at the filter outlet staring toward the back of the tank. He didn't eat either, which never happens. He was always an eager eater. When he wasn't eating he would swim across the front of the tank "working out" his swimming muscles. He was always pretty active and fun to watch.
Of course I checked the ammonia & nitrite and both were perfect yellow & blue. I never did get around to checking the Nitrate or the pH cause I figured the tank is just about due it's weekly 1/3 water change anyway & I planned to do it tonight (Monday). No other fish show any signs of stress, are lethargic or anything. The Corys, Guppies & Molly Fry are buzzing around, and the Glowlights are chilling out in a pretty good school. Everything looks to be normal but the King is gone.
