Rip Disco

Our first betta.
He's not been "right" for a while - seeming to be depressed.
I tried him on his own, in my community and even got him a harem - which perked him up for a while then he lost interest again.
He's been on his own in 3Gal for a few weeks now (it's a 5Gal but I keep the water level lower for him).
I've just gone in the bedroom now and he's gone to sleep forever

He was never skinny or bloated, no signs of anything, he just seemed "tired". Although, he was a tail shredder - but fortunately never got finrot and never actually made his fins really short, just shredded.
Hubby's sad too as Disco was technically his fish.

Oh poor little lad! I'm sorry for your loss.

Perhaps it was age? How old was the lad?

I bought him in January this year, but he had been shipped from Singapore and apparently almost didn't make it then as he travelled really bad.
He was quite big (didn't realise at the time but he was bigger than any of my other boys), so maybe he was older, I don't know.

I'm sure i've seen photos of the lad on here some where and from what i remember has was gorg.
