Awww I'm so sorry for your loss. Poor lil fella. Our water temps went up to 30+ at the beginning of the week but I have tropicals and they didn't seem to mind too much (didn't stop the platties being total nutters at any rate!). I take it water conditions are all normalish etc? I really don't know. Maybe it was just nature doing what it does.
Hugs,
P.
yes waters were all normal, i have been doing water changes and replacing with colder water in my tropicals as they were up 2 degrees !
Poor old bob, he was a very fat one that i was told are a breed, they were all like that, they still sell them at my lfs, they look like they have dropsy or something, i bought him as he was riddled with white spot and being bullied .. oh well 2 yrs is ok for an indoor goldfish i guess ! i hate it when they die he used to get at my cats tongue when she stuck her head through the gap in the tank hood and drink out of it !
Mind you, if he was i'll when you got him his immune system could have been shot to pieces and he may have succomded to a secondary infection or something,
i did think they should live longer, poor thing he was never that healthy, he just seemed so extremely bred his shaaspe and small fins meant he could never swim that much bless him ! oh well did the best i could !
