Right Medication?

I have fish that are rubbing against the rocks. What is the right medicine to use for this? They don't look sick, they just keep rubbing against the rocks. Also, what is the difference between maracyn and moroxy and melafix? Thanks for your help

Can you post water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph to make sure it isn't water quality, maracyn is an anti internal bacteria med, and melafix is for wounds is an antiseptic treatment have to look the other one up.

maroxy is for fungus and bacteria, if you do have a parasite you will need this med.

Hmmm... How many fish do you have in the tank? Also your water stats would be a help as well. This could be the beginning of Ich.

My water stats are all fine. The tank where I am noticing it is in my 10 gal fry tank. I had a hi-fin platy that had about 30 babies. The babies are 3 weeks old. I noticed a couple of babies doing it.

As long as no fungus or damage is apparent just keep an eye on it and see if anything appears.

Where is the fungus on the fish, as water changes should clear it up,add abit of salt to the tank, it will help with the fungus and parasite, also turn temp up if you have parasites.
