Right, :X

Where to begin.....at the begining i spose!!! :p

Had a tank a long time ago, and now i wanted to get back into it! Circumstances prevail!

I blame SamUK for everything! as i dont have a job yet i cant really afford this, actually truthfully i cant afford this! :hyper:

The tank is still in its box as its in the basement and staying there until i get work!! Temptation is just way too high at the moment!

So ive taken some pics from the top of the box! Basically the corners of the tank are smartly fitted with aluminium strips, i chose black...as you can see!

The canopy is black too, also aluminium and comes with two light fittings and great reflectors!

Tanks is also finished off with a black aluminium stand!

Let me know wat u think!

p.s: need positive thoughts here to help with the guilt!!! :hey:

hehehe thanks guys!

Im sure the water wont look that bad!!! :p

i cant wait!

Going to use a dark substrate and alot of plants, for either a community tank or an oddball tank!

great choice these are really well made tanks. we dont see them much in the UK. if im not mistaken they dont need anything underneath to support them as the frame has all the strength. choose a background wisely

I 1st saw them in the uk and thats where i fell in love with them!!

As for the support goes, i dont think the frame will support the bottome of the stand, i think the frame is more for looks that structural support!

But i cant find anything in the manual that says i need a plank between the tank and stand?!

What do you guys reckon? :S

between the tank and the stand you dont need a plank or anything like that, you need a piece of tank sponge or foam. go to the lfs, they will tell you.

Hi Clare,

Ive managed to get a response from a member with the 530L version of my tank and they say that the tank doesnt need any of the stuff above, as the frame does the job!

I would like to heard from more people tho!

So... it's been a while, what's new?

I'm putting a small layer of foam under my acrylic tank, but I'm not sure if you need it for glass tanks...

Right, so this is how it all went down!

I had to sell the tank in that condition you saw it in for half of what i got it for! Long complicated story about breaking up a relationship and moving back to the UK. The buyer got an amazing deal! im SO gutted!

It killed me that tank! but the dream aint dead yet! I WILL one day get this all setup how i intended originally!

Im posting now because i just thought about this and thought you guys might want some closure!

One day.........
