Hi, I have a tank that has been set up since march. It doesnt matter what I do I have an algae coming back in a few days and anything in the tank (plant, decor) always look dirty. The water is near enough perfect according to my API Test kit. The fish dont seem to mind but I just cant seem to get rid of the algae and dirt.
My weekly maintenance routine has now jumped from a 45 minute water change to a 4 hours deep clean (every week). Its getting ridiculous. I also seem to be spending more and more money on treatments but nothing is working. I feel its only a matter of time before everything goes wrong and would appreciate some help.
PS: I will go into more detail on equipment, maintenance, decor etc if anyone is interested in helping
