Do you think I could make a riccia wall? I have lots of riccia but don't know what I want to do with it. I'm going to make a christmas moss wall if it lives, and it's not in very good condition at the minute, but might make a riccia wall on my other tank, or could even make a moss backdrop and riccia sides or vice versa. I don't know if it will work or not, and will it just come free once it's grown. Think I would be better off using moss.

You got the moss then? :good:
Sorry it's not in good condition, it's not growing well since i got it. It was half dead when i got it.
I spent ages doing my moss wall and that's all died :(

I still have some left but that's not doing well either, it's just lost the will to live :(

I've got it in my high light tank, so hopefuly it may come back alive. Thanks for it anyway! :D Really hope it lives, as I want to make a moss wall when it grows a bit, just I got sent a load of riccia and don't know what things to put it on.

my moss wall was under high light, CO2 and fertiliser but it still died. :(
I removed it today...
i have some more on a slate, that's not doing too well either

It's a shame cos there's a lot of it, could be worth some money if i could get it to grow

A Riccia wall would be very high maintenance and look a little weird IMO. Loads of sparkling bubbles in the background.....

I'd personally stick to moss but if maintenance time isn't an issue and you like sparkles then go for it. I assume you have ample light, CO2 etc?
