Can I trim my riccia-it's grown great following the pinned article-but it's a bit taller than I would like-can it be trimmed-or will it look a mess?

Alan,

I started trimming mine but it looked really unnatural! the ends were too blunt and with it being a floater anyway, its not the most natural looking at the best of times. This sounds really daft but my g/f is a beauty therapist and worked in hair as well. She was watching me do it and told me to try and thin it out or feathering it i think she called it (which is a hair dressing technique) Basically point your scissors at the riccia horizontally and chop downwards in snapping motion into it (rather than horizontally and blunting it) I`m not being daft, it looked much better! really natural and wasn`t as blunt. I will definately be cutting my riccia this way in furture!

Btw, my riccia has just exploded yesterday morning lol! Start again......
