Ribbing!

I know i am going to get a bit of ribbing about this but how can you tell if your guppy is a female or male?

And how often to molly's and swordtails give birth and what are the signs.

Sorry, I guess you can see the bulge but hw long from the bulge until hatch approx?

I have a pregnant (i think) Garmin, she i think has been preggers for about 1 week what kind of size and timing am i looking At.

I apologise but i am a newbie and i want to start some good caring breeding. I have 1 molly in my floating raising chamber at present as it is a new tank so i have to be careful about feeding to much but then the drawback is the young beig eaten. I think the floating chamber is a worthwhile investment.

Is it worth me shifting the Garmin into the chamber so the little ones fall through the railings or is this too stressfulfor her as i have no idea when she will drop them.

Male guppies are very colorful. Females are usually a dull greenish with maybe some color on their tail fin. The anal fin on the female is rounded and the males is pointed. The closer to birth the more square looking they get. Not sure on how often but about every month to 6 weeks. I gave up on breeding traps as they really stress out the fish and they can abort the fry. I just use mine to hold the fry temporarily till I catch them all.

Yes i agree i am only going to hold the fry in there . But i will keep them in there for a couple of weeks until at some decent size to be a bit more safe.
