Returning To Freshwater

Hello. First post on this forum. I've had a salt water tank for most of the last 20 years, but have grown tired of mixing water and after a recent mechanical issue I think it is a good opportunity to convert to freshwater. I'm hoping to find advice and techniques. I just wanted to say a first hello. I'm going to look around the forum a bit and will find the best place to post my situation and ask for help.
