Fish Crazy
So last night i went and bought a Rusty plec, i have wanted one for ages. It was labelled as a L039 or L037 in a different tank...anyway thats not what the story is about.
The girl who caught it filled the bag with water from the tank, i asked to look at it in the bag (just to make sure it was healthy and definately a Rusty). I didn't notice anything unusual until i got home: Swimming around the bag was not one but FIVE platy babies!
Now i had three choices. 1: feed them to my cichlids 2: give them to my dad for his diminishing community tank or 3: i could return them.
There was no way my boyfriend was gonna drive me back to the shop after i spent so long over choosing which pleco i liked best! So the platys are in my dads tank!
There are only four platys left now because the tiniest baby died, i think the plec hit it in the bag when it thrashed about.
Just thought i would share that little tale with you all!
