Hello first time posting here thought maybe I could use some good advice.

I have a 100gal tank that has been the same way for quite awhile now, and I'm wanting to do something different with it now. However, I do not know what to do. I was thinking about getting some discus for it. RIght now there are live plants and driftwood for decor and the fish life includes, Angels, beunos aires, columbian, and black skirt tetras, yoyos, SAE, a pleco, a fire eel, and a black ghost knife. I know I need a bigger tank for a few of those fish, and I'm looking it is just hard to find one that is affordable. If I get some discus which fish would be ok with them and what would have to go. I know a few people that I can give them too that would take really good care of them. Of course the eel, BGK, angels, and Pleco can't go they are my babies. I even have a breeding pair of angels, but I can't seem to keep the babies alive no matter what I do. I'm still trying but I'll save that for another post. Also, is my tank currently large enought to have the angels and discus in the same tank with enough for them to keep everyone happy? Since the discus are also cichlids will there be any problems adding them with the angels. I've never had a problem adding fish with the angels before they just do there own thing and ignore all the other fish.

Any advice will be very helpful, if this isn't a good ideal I could maybe get some new plants or something else instead.

Hello....Is anyone out there, or is everyone swimming with their fishies.

Alright well lets see, Im not a discus keeper, but I do like them so I read a lot about them. I know people say that you should give 10 gallons per discus. I know you'd have to get rid of the BGK, as far as other fish people have had success keeping discus and angels, the tetra should be fine. Since I dont know the number of each fish, we cant really tell you if they'd fit in. Something else that would be nice to know are your water parameters. you know kH, pH, nitrite and nitrate. you know all that stuff, and someone else that knows more should be able to help.

I don't know what my kH is but my ammonia and nitrite are 0 and nitrate is around 5. I have two fluval 404 filters. How come the BGK would have to go? As far as the other fish go I am going to get rid of some of the tetras and get new ones. I would really love to have some cardinals and rummy noses. I have 6 angels, but I'm giving a few to my sister. I only have two that I really want to keep. I have had them for a few years now.
