Most of you have heard about my little tiger barbs, that were saved from someone who had them in an overstocked 10gallon tank and was wondering why her fishes were all missing fins :sly: so i offered to take them on.There were 3 normal ones and 6 green ones.i lost 3 within a week from an unknown illness. Then they were all moved to the only tank i have spare.a 20gallon,yes i know its a little on the small side  but its the best i can do.they arnt in with any other fish
anyway.most of them are doing fine exept one of them,he is weaker and has been getting picked on.He i much slower.today i checked them and and he is missing his tail :/ it has been bitten off.Definatly not fin rot.It happened within the hour
so is there anything i can do for him?.i cant seperate .I have nowhere to put him.I did a small water change.I cant get any meds for a while yet so is there anything i can do?or shall i just wait and see how he goes :dunno:

Sounds like you need to wait and see. No place to put him so it comes down to survival of the fittest - it happens sometimes. If they do start to leave him alone just keep the water very clean and watch how fast that fin heals with nothing else done.

thanks
i do have a hospital tank but we have a fish in it at the moment.
I had a guppy this happeded to and he lived quite afew years

He is hiding in the plants.
Hopefully he makes it

it looks as though the tail has been bitted off.No redness anything on it,
thanks again

If water stats are good just keep an eye on him, make sure it doesn't get infeced, good luck.

Nice job. Even though I despise Tiger Barbs after what they did to one of my fish.
