So I was at the LFS looking for some mollies to add to my tank and I noticed that they had a tank with several little fry in it. They were probably about 1-2 months old judging from their size. I asked the lady why they had them as it's unusual to see fish that young for sale and she said that they must have come in with their regular shipment and no one noticed. She ended up just giving me some for free because they were so young and I guess she thought they would probably die. I couldn't refuse because they would have surely been eaten if left in the overcrowded tank in the store so I ended up taking home 4. The only problem is now that I don't know what they are! They are either mollies, platys or swords. Is there any way to tell the difference at such a young age? Also, how old will they be before I can determine their sex? Right now it looks like I lucked out and got all females.
