Thanks all I just added the two rams two days ago, along with the large sword and the white rock which replaced a very old, dying plant. I'm slowly turning the tank into a more American orientated tank, I already have removed a few fish recently and am removing the silver shark and danios in the next few days.

Not sure what else to get yet though

Don't worry, as soon as I move off some more fish I plan to! Probably more Bolivians I'm thinking... would 5 in total be a good number?

I like to think I've been continually redesigning this tank since I first started with tropicals, it's come a loooonnngg way


I probably have enough old photos to make a whole journal this is what it used to look like before I got my canister - which was around the time I really started to get a grasp on everything fishkeeping is about.

See how bad the ammonia is? I thought that was normal!! Ahh the folly of youth

Incidentally the only thing remaining from that picture today is the angel, a single neon and a few of the plants at the far right.
