I'm planning on reshuffling some of my plants around, namely crypts. i bought these a couple of weeks back, and planted these as they came from the pot, i.e. in one bunch without splitting them.

I now realise, i should have split these and spread them around a bit to get more coverage.
They are all doing really well, if i took them out and split them, would i need to trim the roots or anything else before replanting?

Always trim the roots mate, it encourages new growth. Other than that, spread them a little and they may melt a bit but will soon grow back once use to their new position. :)
