I'm an idiot and got me plants mixed up, its a replacement for cabomba i'm after, the stuff is a bit of a pain. Its getting carried away with its self. I keep trimming it back but where its cut is getting increacingly obvious. Also the plec doesent like his bottom space messed with and has battered some of it out. :sly:

Anyway, wondered if there are any suggestions. Java fern and such are valid candidates i know but i don't want something that grows THAT fast. I have Hydrocortyle that is growing nicely at the minute.

What do you guys think.

Lighting is 1 30W floresant timed for 7hrs with an extra 30W swichable. The tank will get another 4 hours ambient on top of that. I can't reduce the timer any further, if i do the plants lean towards the window.

Basic ferts with no carbon. Fish stock is as sig with 6 cory's on route.
