Fish Crazy
This morning I got back from my lfs with my new
Blue ram! Had to share my excitement. Here is the recap:
The local breeder finally came through with some rams to my lfs, They came in, and I purchased two of them. Got them home and everything seemed fine for the first two days. Then one of them got really sick. He eventually died from this mysterious illness, and I took him back after thanksgiving. I was begining to worry about the one that was well, because after his buddy died his color faded dramatically. He almost didn't look like a Blue Ram anymore. But as soon as I finished acclimating his new friend and put him in the tank with him his color popped back.
That was really cool to see. He had been looking really drab. He had no visible blue on him and even his eyes lost most of the red color and stripe. But within five minutes of adding the new one all of the color was back in him and then some. Those two seem to be getting along really well, they should as they are brothers. I hope to get a pair of females for them whenever I can find them from another breeder.
Just wanted to share my excitement.
